In this project we explored the Georgia Tech Kendena Building and were inspired by other Living Buildings as part of the Living Building Challenge. The challenge is a set of standards that describes how a building that has negative waste could be designed and give back to the environment.

We designed an amphitheater for Auburn Georgia that can serve as an economic and population growth center in the middle of the downtown area.

The living building challenge is an initiative to create a more sustainable future by designing buildings and certifying buildings to a higher standard of ecologically safe. The Buildings in this program provide more to the environment than they could take. They have systems that control everything about them and thought put into every material they are build out of.

Our amphitheater is designed in a way that it can be sustainable and provide a safe place for events, people to walk around, families to live around, and have fun times with everyone. It has a system to collect water out of the air, would be surrounded by foliage and a community garden, and a clean atmosphere.
